Rentals · Loudoun & the DMV

Today. Not Thursday.

We rent out the same cameras, glass, lights and audio we shoot with — and we drive it to you. No shipping box. No two days out and two days back. No refreshing a tracking number like it’s a stock ticker while your shoot day evaporates.

Hand-delivered across Loudoun, Fairfax, Arlington and DC — delivery fee scales with distance. Pick it up at the studio in downtown Leesburg and there isn’t one.

Why not just ship it

A cardboard box can't tell you which lens you actually want.

01

Twenty minutes, not two days

Ship-a-box rental means two days out, two days back, and a signature you have to be home for. We drive it over instead. Twenty minutes if you’re in Loudoun, about an hour if you’re downtown — either way you’re shooting today, not Thursday.

02

A human who has shot with it

Everything on our shelf has been on a paying job. So when you call, you get someone who can warn you about the quirk before you find it yourself at 2am in a hotel ballroom.

03

And if it dies, we come back

Card fails. Light quits. The second body won't wake up. Call us — if it's on the shelf, it's in your hands the same day. We call it The Save. It's a real service with a real price, not a favor you have to beg for.

The math isn't complicated. Four days of shipping and a tracking number you check like a stock ticker — or one text, and a truck out front.

The kits

Six ways to not blow the shoot.

Packed as kits, not parts lists, because nobody wants to be the person who remembered the camera and forgot the charger. Day rate is 24 hours. Weekend runs Friday afternoon to Monday morning — four shooting days priced like two.

Second Shooter, Sorted

$115 / day

Weekend $175

Your A-cam is handled. This is the angle that makes the edit breathe — the cutaway, the reaction, the shot you didn’t know you needed until you were three hours into the timeline. Both L-series zooms come with it, so the B-cam isn’t the compromise.

  • Canon R6 Mark II
  • Canon RF 24-70mm F2.8 L IS USM

Aisle to Last Dance

$195 / day

$265 with FX3 · Weekend $295 / $395

A wedding is eleven hours of things that happen exactly once. Built for that, by people who have sweated through the whole eleven.

  • Two lav mics
  • Shotgun mic + recorder
  • On-camera light
  • Two prime lenses
  • Spare batteries and cards
  • Add an FX3 body — +$70

Podcast Kit (Audio)

$85 / day

Weekend $150

Four chairs, four mics, zero excuses. Bad audio clears a room faster than a bad guest — this is the cheapest insurance you will ever buy.

  • Four dynamic mics
  • Four boom arms
  • Multi-channel recorder / interface
  • Headphones
  • Every cable you’ll need
  • SD card

Glass Only, À La Carte

$45–55 / day

Per lens · L-series zooms $75

You’ve got a body. You need one lens for one shot. And the mount probably isn’t a problem — the 85 travels with both an RF and an E adapter, so glass that lives on one system can spend the day on yours.

  • Canon RF 24-70mm F2.8 L IS USM — $75
  • Canon RF 70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM — $75
  • Sigma 40mm F1.4 Art — E mount
  • Canon 85mm F1.4 — EF mount
  • A shelf of older EF primes and zooms
  • RF and E adapters included

Same day

The Save

Item day rate + $70

Something died mid-shoot. It happens to everyone and it is never, ever convenient. Call us — if it’s on the shelf, it’s in your hands today. You pay the item’s day rate plus a flat $70 for the drive and the hustle, and that covers the drive no matter where in the DMV you’re standing. No panic markup, no lecture about backups.

Call in a save

Keep it longer, pay less per day.

Same math on every kit and every à la carte item. No haggling, no “ask us” — this is the rate.

1 day1×
2 days2×
3 days2×
4 days2½×
5 days3×
6 days3½×
7 days4×

Three days for the price of two. A full week for the price of four. So the $75 zoom is $150 for a three-day shoot and $300 for the week — and the weekend rates above are still their own, better deal. Past a week, call us and we’ll build a number that makes sense.

Delivery is added to every kit and scales with distance — we’ll quote it up front, not after. Pickup at the studio is free. Day rate is 24 hours; the multi-day math above applies to everything on this page.

À la carte

Or just take the one thing you’re missing.

Kits are cheaper than the sum of their parts — but sometimes you don’t need a kit. You need a monitor, or a second battery, or a replacement for the light that just died. Take it and go.

And the room itself

You can rent the studio, too.

Downtown Leesburg. High ceilings, light you can actually control, and quiet enough that the mic only hears what you meant to say. Shoot a campaign, build a set, photograph a product line, or record an episode.

From $100 an hour. Seamless backdrops and a hand-built acoustic wood wall come with every booking, and if you’re recording a podcast that’s its own package — multi-cam, audio and video together, an engineer on the board. Full rates and room specs live on the studio page.

How it works

Four steps, and none of them involve a shipping label.

01

Tell us what you’re shooting

Not what you think you need — what you’re shooting. If the cheaper kit does the job, we’ll say so. We’d rather have you back in March than squeeze you in January.

02

We confirm and hold it

Usually within the hour. You get a real answer from a person who can see the shelf, not a place in a queue and an automated email.

03

We hand it to you

Meet us at the studio in downtown Leesburg, or we drive it over. Twenty minutes covers most of Northern Virginia, and we go further when it matters.

04

We check it in together

Two minutes, side by side, everything on the table. No mystery invoice showing up three weeks later with a line item you don’t recognize.

The unglamorous part

We need a card on file and a driver’s license, and for the RED kit, proof of production insurance. If something breaks, tell us immediately — honest beats hidden every single time, and we would much rather fix it with you than argue about it later.

Before you ask

The questions everybody asks.

Do you deliver outside Loudoun?

Ashburn, Sterling, Reston, Fairfax, Arlington, DC and most of the DMV — yes. There’s a delivery fee and it scales with how far we’re driving, quoted before you commit. Further out, ask. We’re reasonable about it, and we’d rather drive than watch you rebook a shoot.

What if I need it for three days?

Then don’t pay three day rates — pay two. Three days costs the same as two, and a full week is the price of four. It’s the same math on every kit and every single item, and it’s printed right on this page, so you never have to email us to find out what a Tuesday-to-Friday costs.

Can I just pick it up?

Please do. Downtown Leesburg, and the coffee’s honest. It’s also the fastest way to have someone walk you through the kit before you’re standing in a parking lot with it.

What if you don’t have what I need?

We’ll tell you fast and point you at someone who does. Sending you somewhere good beats taking your money for the wrong kit — that’s not charity, it’s how you get a call back.

Are you an actual rental house?

No. We’re a production company that rents out its own working gear. Which means every piece is maintained by people whose next paycheck depends on it firing up.

How do I book?

Through us, for now — online booking is coming. Send the date and the kit and you’ll hear back the same day, usually a lot sooner.

Tell us the date

So — what are you shooting?

Booking runs through us for now. Send the date, the kit, and what you’re making. We’ll confirm the same day — and if there’s a smarter way to shoot it, we’ll tell you that too.
